The crowbar is the most interesting item anyone has named in WARDOGS, because its published purpose is not fighting. PC Gamer’s Morgan Park, reporting on 11 August 2026 after playing a test build, named it among the tools anyone can buy and gave it a specific job: breaking into enemy forward operating bases. That is one journalist’s account of an early-August build rather than an official statement, and we mark it reported for that reason.
HISTORY
The sources describe two approaches to a built position: the official description names rocket launchers for demolition, while PC Gamer reports crowbars for entering enemy forward bases. These are different described functions. The report does not establish that a crowbar is silent, cheap or effective against every structure, and this article has not tested those properties in the released version.
WHAT IT CHANGES IN PRACTICE
Entering a defended base could offer an alternative to demolishing it. That is a tactical interpretation of the reported function, not a tested recommendation. The evidence cited in this article does not establish the crowbar’s current price, entry time, noise, compatible structures or combat use. WHAT PLAYERS GET WRONG
