OVERVIEW
On 9 October 2026, the Steam listing names Elytra in its kernel-level anti-cheat notice. This is a disclosure on the game’s store page, not a test by this site of the software installed on a player’s computer. It identifies the product and its stated access level; it does not by itself describe when it runs or what information it collects.

The notice recorded for this article on 3 September 2026 named Easy Anti-Cheat. The store page checked on 12 September names Elytra instead. These two dated observations establish a change in the listing, not the exact date or method of a software migration. We have not independently identified the anti-cheat installed in the released game, and do not infer its behaviour from another product or another game.
WHAT IT CHANGES IN PRACTICE
The Steam listing checked for this article names Windows and kernel-level anti-cheat; that alone does not establish compatibility with other operating systems. BULKHEAD’s written announcement of 8 September 2026 adds practical guidance: use the in-game report function on official servers, and consider community-hosted servers, where it says administrators can immediately ban disruptive players. These are the studio’s recommendations, not a measurement of effectiveness or a guarantee of protection. The cited text does not establish when the anti-cheat runs, what data it reads, or whether it can be declined; this site has not tested those behaviours in the released game. On 19 September 2026, the official WARDOGS account said Bulkhead had disabled Steam Family Sharing after accounts used it to bypass bans and disrupt legitimate matches. That is the studio's stated reason; it is not a test of Elytra or a guarantee that every cheat is prevented.
WHAT PLAYERS GET WRONG
Do not treat the store notice as complete technical documentation. The written announcement of 8 September gives reporting advice, but the cited texts do not establish the software’s startup conditions, the scope of its data collection, whether players can decline it, or the process for contesting automated sanctions. Community-server administrators being able to ban players does not answer those technical questions. This article does not claim to have tested the released game. The post records a platform-level response to ban evasion. It does not establish when Elytra runs, what it reads, how sanctions are appealed, or that the measure catches every cheat.
