Early Access date set for 10 September

Archive of the Early Access date announcement. The studio announced the September release date through Steam, and the press reports cited here attributed it to BULKHEAD and Team17. The game has since entered Early Access. This page preserves the original announcement; current store information is recorded on our release-date page.
HISTORY
The date arrived late and in one piece. Our own monitoring recorded the Steam page showing only “2026” on 10 August 2026, and the full date of 10 September on 15 August. PC Gamer had covered the game’s reveal on 6 June 2026 from the Future Games Show without a date attached. As of 17 August 2026 no source we have opened describes an earlier date that was missed or moved, so we make no claim of a delay.
WHAT IT CHANGES IN PRACTICE
The announcement recorded here concerns entry into Early Access, not completion of development. In the Steam notice checked on 26 September 2026, fighter jets remain a planned addition without a specific delivery date. The notice does not establish that they are reserved exclusively for the full release, nor that they are available now. The current release information page separates the launch record from future plans.
WHAT PLAYERS GET WRONG
The buying guidance in this announcement was based on the publisher’s dated position: a lower Early Access price, incomplete content and a monetisation commitment. Those statements are not a current test of every purchase option or feature. Use the dated price, release and monetisation pages for the corresponding evidence, rather than treating this archive as an instruction to buy on launch day.
