OVERVIEW
BULKHEAD’s Steam announcement of 30 September describes a minor update targeting cash and XP exploits, security problems and a Windows 11 (WD-L020) crash. Maintenance was scheduled for the morning in UTC with an estimated duration; this notice does not confirm that services have resumed.
HISTORY
Revive validity checks are now fully server-authoritative. Rewards for the vehicle fly-through exploit are capped. Destroying buildables now pays according to their construction progress, so a placed schematic no longer earns the full reward. Depositing pallets into a FOB outside the zone earns reduced rewards. The announcement supplies no cap, reduction rate or replacement XP table. BULKHEAD says economy abuse can lead to cash and progression resets and permanent bans.
WHAT IT CHANGES IN PRACTICE
The new Deploy flow distinguishes Official, Community, Infantry Mode and Low-Level servers. Official advanced filters return; full server names, connection and queue feedback, anonymous-mode privacy and gamepad support on the selection screen improve navigation. Administrators gain scheduled UTC restarts and RCON access restrictions; RCON responses and message lengths are limited, and server image URLs are checked. These are announced changes, not a server-uptime measurement.
WHAT PLAYERS GET WRONG
The notes also address throwables used from enclosed vehicle seats, the crosshair while aiming, construction critical spots and a Havoc damage bug involving cannon fire. Season 02 remains a planned larger update with map conditions, equipment, balance work and additional features; this notice does not make that content available today.
